Our son goes to Teddy Bear and is in the infant room. Miss Kim & Miss Karen have been incredibly kind. On top of caring for him; they paint with him, play with him, go for walks, and give him snuggles. Our son smiles when we drop him off and I anticipate this to continue as he moves into different rooms as he gets older. The staff from administration to all teachers have shown us kindness and we are very grateful for such quality care!

I know my kids are cared for and safe while at Teddy Bear. The teachers are kind and actively tailor lessons and activities specifically to my child’s development. We really could not have asked for a better preschool experience.

Our family has been thrilled with our Teddy Bear experience so far. My daughter has been in the infant room for several months and I am consistently impressed with the level of care that she receives. Not only are her basic needs met, but she is provided with outdoor time, creative activities, and plenty of guidance on her social and motor skills. It's clear to me that the staff have taken the time to get to know my daughter and have her wellbeing as a top priority. As a first time mom, I've appreciated the level of care and communication that comes from everyone at Teddy Bear.

Our family is very fortunate to have both our children in the care of Teddy Bear Daycare and Preschool. We were seeking a safe place for our children to be taken care of while we are at work, but they provide so much more than just care. The staff and teachers are kind, patient, understanding and willing to meet your child exactly where they are socially, emotionally, academically etc. We truly feel that they love our children and we could not be more thankful to be a part of the Teddy Bear Family.

Both of my boys went to Teddy Bear. For the price and quality of care, it is one of the best you can find in town. I absolutely felt that my children were cared for and safe. I recommend Teddy Bear to my friends and family members.

We are so very happy that we found Teddy Bear Day Care. After the birth of our son, our family tried a couple of different daycare providers. While they were all great in their way, none of them provided our family the level of care and convenience that we found at Teddy Bear Day Care. When we first started attending, they asked if we had any concerns or areas of growth that we wanted to see in our son. At the time we were struggling with potty training and speech issues. They took note and worked with him. Within 2 weeks, there was a significant improvement in his speech and he was having fewer accidents. They continue to communicate with me about any areas that he is struggling in and we work together to address them. Its clear that the entire staff loves children and wants to set them up to be successful in their future. Its so wonderful to have this team of people who love and support my child like he is their own. I cannot recommend them enough!

There aren’t enough accolades or words to adequately capture the gratitude and love that our family has for Beth Fryer and Teddy Bear Daycare. Her deep commitment to caring for the whole child, and her passion for helping families raise curious, independent, and self-regulated children is second to none. She loved our children as though they were her own and provided the gold standard in childcare. The expansive breadth of experiences, the time and space for children to explore their own interests, and her nurturing boundaries and guidelines are intentional and grounded in early childhood educational research. Our children are the kind, empathetic, successful, happy adults that they are in large part due to Beth’s care of them when they were small. You just won’t find a better daycare experience for your children than Miss Beth‘s Teddy Bear Daycare.

We chose Teddy Bear Bass Lake for our son, because we wanted an experimental daycare for him. When we pick up full dirt and tired from playing with his friends outside most of the day, we know we chose the right place. We also love the staff and know they truly care for our son as well.

I can’t say enough good things about Teddy Bear. I have three children and they have attended multiple daycares in Traverse City over the years. Hands down my best experience has been with Teddy Bear. They are super great with the kids and really try to make things easy for the parents. They are outside all the time and my child comes home whooped EVERY day! They have handled the pandemic with grace and if I were going to have any more kids, I would already have them on the waitlist at Teddy Bear.

Our daughter has been attending the Long Lake location for almost 2 years. She began in the infant room when she was 4 months old. The staff have been loving and supportive every step of the way! The rooms are always clean and organized. The team does a great job of providing structured activities (e.g., crafts, sensory bins) while also giving ample time for unstructured free play. As she has gotten older, she spends more and more time outside in the big natural play area. Every teacher is warm, kind, and respectful. They are prompt in communicating with us with any needs and also regularly update us on all the fun happenings at the school! We have now had two of our children cared for at Teddy Bear Daycare and Preschool. We can’t say enough about how happy we are and how well our children have been cared for. Teddy Bear is extremely organized and they are wonderful at communicating with us as parents. I feel they really know and love our children. The teachers are amazing and incredibly creative. I would highly recommend them to care for any age child. When we drop our children off, they are happy to see their teachers and friends. I know a good day is ahead of them. I appreciate that Teddy Bear follows the rules and guidelines.

My son has been going to Teddy Bear Daycare/Preschool for 4 months. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful they have been to my son. All staff is understanding, kind, and patient. Beyond patient!! His speech is incredible. He has learned to garden, prepare food, and say what he is thankful for. They offer healthy meals and snacks for kiddos. He comes home with these great stories of gardening, chicken feeding, painting, water tables, yoga and so much more. If you are ever considering daycare/preschool for your kiddos this place is it. We love Teddy Bear Daycare!

They are the best at the care and well-being of the children they care for. Learning and social skills are taught in such a gentle way that the children don't even know their learning. Nurture and Fun go hand and hand. I'm an overprotective grandparent and I never worry when the kids are with Miss Beth and her staff.

My daughter loved her time at Teddy Bear Preschool! Ms. Beth is a wonderful teacher with a warm heart!
