Childcare Rates

Childcare rates include all meals and snacks. We provide pureed baby food for our infants.

Discounts

• 10% sibling discount on the lesser tuition child’s weekly tuition charge.
• You will receive the following amount of vacation days per contract year:
• Fulltime: 5 days per contract year M/W/F: 3 days per contract year T/TH: 2 days per contract year
• If you would like to short-term withdraw your child and hope to maintain enrollment, you will receive a 50% discount for the amount of time your child is withdrawn, but must provide a minimum 2-week notice to Administration. Short term withdrawal is 14-60 operational days

Policies & Terms

• Tuition is due on the 1st of the month for monthly pay, or the first day of the week your child attends for weekly pay.
• A $10/day late fee will be charged if payment is not received on the due date.
• If a paid holiday falls on your child’s scheduled day, you are required to pay your child’s full tuition amount. Paid holidays are described in the Parent Handbook. If a paid holiday falls on a weekend, Teddy Bear will observe the day before or day after the weekend.
• Non-paid vacation days may not be used in conjunction with paid holidays.
• Teddy Bear does close for Christmas break, and you are required to pay as normal. These dates will fluctuate each year.
• If you choose to remove your child from care at Teddy Bear, you are required to provide a minimum four-week notice. This is a paid notice, regardless of circumstance.
• If your child arrives before your scheduled arrival time, you will be charged a $10 initial fee, and $1/minute thereafter.
• If your child is picked up late, you are provided with a 5 minute grace period, anything after that is a $10 initial fee, and $1 a minute thereafter.

Hours of Operation and Holidays

Teddy Bear Daycare and Preschool is open from 7:00am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday, twelve months a year, except for the following paid tuition holidays:

• New Year’s Eve
• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• 4th of July
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day, and the day after
• Christmas Week, as defined as the week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day*
• 2 PAID Professional Development Days**
• 1 PAID Teacher Prep Day

*Specific paid dates of closure will be announced each individual year.
**Dates will be announced at least 30 days prior to professional development.

In the event a holiday falls on a weekend, we will elect to close the Friday prior to or the Monday following the holiday. If a holiday or day observed for the holiday falls on your regularly scheduled day, it is considered a paid tuition holiday.
