Infant Supply List
Please provide the following things for the comfort and care of your child:
- diapers that are large enough for comfort and to prevent leakage for sanitary reasons
- a clean waterproof bag or container that can be sealed must be supplied for use with cloth diapers and taken home at the end of each day
- diaper ointment
- extra clothes – we are messy eaters and artists, also spills, drooling, spitting up, and “diaper explosions” happen
- a waterproof bag for soiled clothing OR soiled clothing will be placed in a plastic baggie and hung on your child’s hook
- appropriate outerwear for daily weather conditions – we are outside whenever possible throughout the year; we are also required to practice fire drills regularly
- a small cooler or lunch type bag to bring filled bottles in and send used bottles home
Optional items:
- a pacifier – clips cannot be used
- swaddle – infants may be swaddled up to 2 months only
- sleep sack – must have the label specifying the weight and/or the age range and the child must be in that range
- a blanket or other comfort item may be used for soothing or helping an infant fall asleep but may not be used in cribs
Required for Bottle and Sippy Cup Use
Bottles and sippy cups must be labeled with all of the following information – infant’s first and last name, date, time prepared, contents, and ounces
- labels are provided for the number of bottles needed per day and will stay on if hand washed or put in the dishwasher
- you may use labels of your choice with the required information if you prefer
- a permanent marker is provided to write information on the label and a Mr. Clean eraser pad to remove the marker
- a clean bottle and nipple are required for each feeding
Bottles must be labeled when you are dropping your child off each day, or a marker and eraser pad will be available for your use to label your child’s bottles. Used bottles and sippy cups are rinsed and placed in your child’s container to be taken home at the end of each day.
Breastmilk Bottles

- breastmilk must be provided thawed in bottles
- breastmilk remaining when an infant is done feeding cannot be saved
- breastmilk not consumed must be taken home when the infant is picked up
Formula Provided from Home

- powdered formula must be provided mixed
- formula remaining when an infant is done feeding cannot be saved
- formula not consumed must be taken home when the infant is picked up
Sippy Cups
-
- information from the previous day must be removed from the labels
- sippy cups will be labeled by caregiver as used
- small 2 oz open cups are provided if preferred
Food Provided by Teddy Bear:
- infant oatmeal
- infant single-ingredient fruits and vegetables
- beginning finger foods (cheerios, graham / Club crackers, avocado, melon, yogurt, cheese … )
- a monthly Teddy Bear menu is available if your child is eating table foods so you know what is being served each day
